hello! i've gone through a lot of different aliases and names throughout my time on the internet, but currently it's either cyrus or lobby. i'm not currently comfortable sharing the preferred name i use irl, so this is what i use instead. i'm a trans man living in pennsylvania, as well as alterhuman (kinixus system, the alterhuman dictionary has more info) and autistic. i'm an artist, having picked up this skill in earlier childhood and still continue to draw today. i've been trying to learn other things as well, like coding (ex. this website) and writing. i'm also a selfshipper, it's something i do to both cope and express my strange fixations/attachments to certain characters.
some of my interests include the mandela catalogue, yume nikki + its fangames (especially .flow), roblox, pokemon, combat robotics/robot combat, friday night funkin, and maybe a few other things i can't remember. i was a huge fan of yo-kai watch as a (younger) kid, and in 2020 i was a jojo's bizarre adventure fan. my favorite musicians are black dresses (as well as devi and rook's solo careers), sewerslvt, goreshit, pilotredsun, and femtanyl. i jokingly call myself a black dresses superfan sometimes, typically in my head. i don't interact with fandoms all that much, i think the state of modern fandom is atrocious, i won't get into it further here, but maybe somewhere else.
i wasn't around for this specific era (due to being born in the late 2000's), but 2000's era internet always had this sense of comfort to me. the internet in general has been something i've grown up with, which has both made and ruined me. 2010's internet was a very odd time, to say the least. it wasn't as bleak and dystopian as 2020's, and it isn't nearly as freeing as 2000's, it was a weird inbetween where violence started to bloom. but onto another topic now. this neocities website does mean a lot to me, as it encapsulates a love of the internet, as well as myself entirely. i hope i can keep this site going for years, i want it to grow with me. who knows, maybe i can put these coding skills to use someday on a place other than a niche personal website themed after a mostly-forgotten fangame of an rpg maker game, lol.
but in the meantime, i hope i can show the web revival and neocities communities a love that they deserve. the internet should be a lot more beautiful than it is now.
